The records attributed to Spain on Notofilia are colonial gold coins: escudos and doubloons of Philip V, Charles III, Charles IV, and Ferdinand VII, struck at Santa Fe de Bogotá (mintmark NR). They circulated as Crown coin, not as later Colombian republican issues.
